The Second phase of polling in Assam starts tomorrow on 01/04/21. In this second phase the election is going to take place in 39 constituencies in 12 districts of Assam. Most probably in second phase entire the central Assam, Barak Valley and some lower Assam portion is going to covered.
According to the Election Commission 72,44,631 voters including 37,34,537 males and 36,09,959 females are eligible to cast their vote in approx 11,537 polling centers in today’s first phase.
According to the state election commission, the constituency with the highest number of electors in Phase 2 in Hojai. It has 373 polling stations and 2,65,886 voters and the constituency having with the lowest number of electors is Howraghat in Karbi Anglong district with 195 polling stations and 1,32,339 electors.
